Talk is Not Cheap
In the 1980’s an American stock brokerage firm had a TV commercial that had a line that became familiar to most people. It was, “When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen.“ Fast forward to 2009; When President Barack Obama talks, people listen and then the stock market looses another four to five percent.
The Barack Obama presidency will no doubt have more historical significance than the fact that half of his chromosomes came from the African continent. The stock market plunge since Obama was elected may unfortunately just be the tip of the iceberg. I have not completed an in dept study of Obama, but enough information is readily available to make some objective judgment about Obama.
Evidence points to facts that suggest Obama has basically skated through life using his affirmative action status and his communication skills ( BSing) to keep the skates waxed. The knowledge about people who raised him, the Communist man who mentored him as a young boy, those who paid for his college, those who help launch his political career, and all who greased his palm for favors is disturbing to say the least. And what about his pastor of 20 years who blames every problem black people have on “whitey?” Never mind the fact that Jeremiah Wright, the poor black preacher, lives in a 10 million dollar house. How bad is America for that black guy anyway? You don’t suppose he took advantage of the people attending his church, do you? Dwelling on Wright is necessary to emphasize that Obama did not spend 20 years under the preaching of that pastor without having been in agreement with such warped attitudes.
Obama is either incompetent and/or outright evil. Many of us thought so before he was elected; many more are likely catching on now that he has been in office for almost two months. Obama’s mother, a white woman, was raised in the US while his father, a black man, came to America from Kenya as a college student. Obama’s father abandoned him and his mother and returned to Africa. His mother and her parents raised Obama. All three were Atheists. Among the attitudes Obama usually suppresses reasonably well, but nevertheless harbors, is the idea that wealthy white people are responsible for all the woes that beset black people.
He may just be in over his head since he has really had no executive experience before taking office. Or, he may be purposely trying to destroy our nation. I tend to think it is both; he wants to spread the white wealth around, AKA Socialism, to poor blacks, but his arrogance is so enormous that he fails to recognize the magnitude of his incompetence. After all, anyone who thinks he can lower the ocean waters probably thinks he can walk on them as well. Below is a quote from a speech Obama gave June 3, 2008.
“I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”
Yeah, go man go, hope and change, yes we can!
I wonder … does Obama actually believe what he says, or does he merely count on useful idiots to believe it? While many Obama followers probably influenced his Messiah persona by adding more helium to his ego balloon, the raw facts about who he was before he became president seemed to be an accurate description of the type president he would become.
My HOPE is that his ideas crash before our country does. Otherwise following Obama talk will not be cheap; it will cost America dearly!

The “I Won” Prez is a Bigger One
Forty years ago when I was in graduate school at Virginia Tech I learned something significant about people who have been promoted. The Animal Science Department was in search of a new head. During a faculty meeting one of the older members made a statement that revealed to me something profound.
He basically said that when a man gets a promotion to a higher rank in the military, gets a promotion in his job, or perhaps gets elected to an important position then that man will become a bigger one of whatever he was before he was promoted. If he was a good guy before the promotion, he will be a great one in the elevated position. In other words, this will bring out the very best in the man because he has greater chance to show his greatness.
Unfortunately if a man is bad before getting promoted, he will be worse after the promotion. If he told fibs before being elevated he will tell outright lies afterwards. If he was a small time cheater previously, he will now be a mega-cheater.
President Barack Obama, I think, is certainly a bigger one now with the power than he was without the power. I will only mention one of his traits, his arrogance as in "I won."
