Should Taxpayers Bail Out Mexifornia?

1/27/09. Look at the numbers below and then ask yourself, “Why is California having financial difficulties?”

• 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens
• 90+% of annual population growth in California is from immigration
• 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens
• 67% of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal paid for by taxpayers
• 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal aliens
• 50% of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border
• 40% of all workers in L.A. County work for cash and do not pay taxes
• 38% (3.9 million) of the 10.2 million people in L.A. County speak Spanish only
• 35% of all inmates in California jails are illegals aliens from Mexico
• 29% of illegal aliens are on welfare
• 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens
• ONLY 2% of illegal aliens are picking crops (many more of the remaining 98% are picking your pocket)
• 300,000 illegal aliens in L.A. County live in garages
• 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking

Common sense rather than commentary is all that is necessary to understand why California is having financial problems.

NOTE:My source for the post above stated that most of the info came from the LA Times, but did not give specific issue(s) or writer(s). This, like so much of what we read on the Internet, must be interpreted with caution. Here is a link to that source: http://www.rense.com/general75/inva.htm

The Omantic Era: A Lack of Substance

01/23/09. The Barrack Obama presidency represents a most unusual phenomenon. I define it as Omantic. This refers to “Obama” and “romantic,” ” and I am not referring to the honeymoon period of a new president who is elected to that office. I refer to the fact that many people who followed, praised, and voted for Obama were mesmerized by his eloquent (while using a teleprompter) speech. Many followers were apparently experiencing an euphoria with Obama’s “hope, change, and yes-we-can message. “ It was romance during an election year like none I have every witnessed. In the interest of full disclosure let me state that I did vote for a candidate for president, but it was not Obama and it was not McCain either.

One definition of romantic is “imaginative but impractical.” Another is “not based on fact; imaginary or fictitious.” Obamanites are romantics for sure and/or extremely liberal in their beliefs. Records show that Obama was the most liberal senator in Congress. He likes big government, Marxist ideals, and his moral compass points south if you consider nothing more than his voting records and statements about the life and death of unborn babies.

Just today I heard the recording of a woman who called a bank because they were about to reprocess her car. In so many words she said they couldn’t do it because “we got Obama now.” A gal by the name of Peggy Jordon made the news weeks ago when she told a TV reporter that she would not have to worry about her mortgage payment or worry about putting gasoline in her car because of Obama. We have all heard of people who had the lights on but nobody was home. Today there are likely millions who don’t even have the lights on.

For nearly 50 years of adult life the most important single thing I have been disappointed in with many adults is their failure the demonstrate critical thinking and judgment. And, ignorance does much to water the seeds of poor judgment. Right now we have a huge crop of those types who are ready for harvest.

Obama has a major challenge as President even if we were in the good times so to speak. I pray that the romanticists haven’t taken him as serious as they seem to have done. If they did, they can expect disappointment. He can’t delivery what they want, and what “wealth” he and members of Congress do deliver will be charged to the generations to come. Pray for your children and grandchildren, the ones who must pay for our indulgences and poor judgment for the past few generations.

Grab Your Wallet Unless it is Already Empty

We hear Washington politicians talk about handouts and bailouts, and then we hear about more handouts and bailouts. What are “we the people” supposed to do when we keep hearing that the most prosperous country in the world is in debt up to her eyeballs? California wants a bailout. Is it not the most prosperous state in America?

Just remember this, governments bail out no one, taxpayers do. That includes you, me, our children, and our children’s children. For the most part, you have no say in the decision-making. No one knows just how many companies will be giving your wallet a hit or how many trillions of dollars the fleecing will cost us.

No house, no problem. No money, no problem. No credit, no problem. No job, no problem. No speak English, no hay problema; here are the keys a tu casa. In California alone, five million bad mortgage loans were to illegal aliens. Thanks to government backed Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae your fanny may be in trouble as you are asked to pick up the tab. Let’s not forget that one executive at Fanny Mae, Franklin Raines, cooked the books, and then pocketed $90 million in bonus money over a six year period. Do you want to place odds on whether he ever gets jail time? Of course he won’t, OUR government approved these shenanigans.

To top off all this bad money news, one of the presidential candidates was recorded on video talking to a plumber in Ohio saying that he believed government should spread the wealth around. Following those bailouts, what wealth, I ask? Of course Obama was talking about taxing the rich in order to spread some of that wealth around to others. Taxing the rich, how old and tired is that approach during an election year? Count on it, increased taxes on the rich will increase the price of goods and services for the middle class. Just wait until the taxes come “to go green” to save the planet from mythical man-made global warming, and then take a look at your electric bill.

Who was it that said, "If somebody wants to build a coal power plant they can, it's just that it will bankrupt them because they are going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted,” Oh yes, Barack Obama said that to the San Francisco Chronicle in January 2008.

At a campaign rally in Florida a lady, Peggy Joseph, had this to say about Obama, “I never thought this day would ever happen. I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know. If I help him, he's gonna help me." No worries, huh Peggy?

Now that the elections are over and we have basically the same players in D.C., can we expect that more of your money and my money will go to people like Franklin Raines and Peggy Joseph? As per Obama’s campaign slogan, “Yes we can!”
Home. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7)
Church. When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation.

Culture. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight.
